Welcome to the blog!
I am so excited to start my blogging journey. I have realized that I desire to write but never pulled the plug on starting a blog for one reason or another. It is easy to think that my thoughts aren’t important and why would anyone want to hear from some young 20-something-year-old about life and ministry?
Over time, I realized that it isn’t that I have a professional opinion for all to hear but that I have a lived experience that may be different than someone else. Or, better yet, I may be 1 or 2 steps ahead of you reader, and can help you learn from my mistakes. I don’t claim to know everything about the topics I write or preach about but I am growing and, ultimately, we all are, so we can learn a thing or two from each other.

What do I want to talk about?
If you ask my wife, I want to talk about everything all the time. I am a researcher and a learner at heart; all I want to do is understand the things around me. You may see the topics at the top of the screen that read “Family Life, Ministry, Manhood, and Other Interests” and the part that stands out is “Other Interests”. I have a lot of interests including technology, filmmaking, podcasting, philosophy, psychology, history, and many more. My main life topics fit into the categories of Family Life, Ministry, and Manhood, but I didn’t think that was enough to encompass all of who Austin Darrow is.
What I hope you gain from this blog is very simple, you get to read about a young man who is trying to figure out this thing called life just like you. The only difference is that I want to share my thoughts on it with the public! I hope that through this journey you learn something new; or that I can just challenge you to think differently on something. Thank you for joining me in this, you will be hearing from me again soon.
